  I have been getting terrible sleep lately. Specifically, I've been waking up in the middle of the night or a couple hours before my alarm and not able to fall back asleep. Last night I just stayed up - not terribly intentionally - and was finally able to sleep to my alarm this morning. Man. Stress sucks.

  I was going to give #Reddit the ol' college try, and then they went and crapped the bed. Literally was like the day I wanted to try to make it more part of my routine, they announced the 3rd party app shutdowns and the CEO looked like a fool. That's been a couple years now I think. Do I give it a try again?

  I'm terrible with social media. I think it's because I decided to focus my energies into either self-care (read: video games) or IRL relationships. Not that I get out much, but talking to humans face-to-face is just satisfying to me. That said, I'm not planning on turning over a new leaf but I'll give it the college try to peek more often at my timeline.

  Today was rough, but only in my mind. I hate the chest constriction the most, I think. It seems uncouth that my body enters fight or flight and I haven't even done anything or been anywhere. #depression #mentalhealth #anxiety

  Just went through and did a little spring cleaning of my Mastodon follows. I could do more but I think I want to put the "social" back in social media here.

  Went camping, which was so very nice to unplug for a while. Came back, and I'm already stressed about the amount of stuff I need to get done. Of course, I had a ton I needed to get done before I left. It was just nice to ignore it for a while.

  I have a small script in Python that I and a few others use for specific purposes in IRC. I inherited the script, which was made using Gtk3 years ago. To integrate it more closely with the IRC program and make it available to other platforms besides Linux, I'm porting it to Qt6 I'm very much an amateur in all of this, but I'm discovering Gtk3 is simpler to use and, while I can get some results in Qt6 I couldn't in Gtk3, it's proving to be a real headache...
