@SrRochardBunson@universeodon.com Wouldn't it be better not to? It would make more of them.

Writing an ERWC-Style Module: Choosing Texts I have written four ERWC modules and substantially revised several more. Most of my own modules turned out to be about full-length works, including Ursula Le Guin’s The Left Hand of Darkness, George Orwell’s 1984, and Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World. Writing a module around a novel is an interesting, complex, and time-consuming task. I will take that up later. http://textrhet.com/2015/01/24/writing-an-erwc-style-module-choosing-texts/

@schwa It's Japanese so it is probably supposed to be something like Nee-koh-n.

@futurebird@sauropods.win That looks like a judgemental cat. The kind that thinks, "Why do I even bother to live here? These humans are incompetent servants. They are untrainable!"

@newsguyusa@flipboard.social Perhaps the motto should read, "What, me worry?"

@DoctorDeathray@retro.social Hmm, I'd ask this question over on TDPRI.com. That is an old-fashioned Telecaster discussion board with a lot of very knowledgeable folks, some of whom build Teles from scratch. My own first thought was to wonder what kind of pots you have in the guitar. Teles with single coil pickups using come with 250K tone and volume pots, which tame the inherent brightness. Humbucking equipped guitars usually have 500K pots that let more brightness through. When you have b...

@Daojoan@mastodon.social By definition, the void has no content. A small void is identical to a big one. Don't let the algorithm fool you.

@georgetakei@universeodon.com Or FEMA either. States have to take care of their own disasters. Notice how when he invades a country, he wants to "take all the oil." When he looks at the U.S. his thought is, "Take all the money."

@wdlindsy@toad.social The threat of force is almost always more effective than the actual application of force.

@VisualInspiration@mas.to Where the firk are they? I know they are off fornicating somewhere. Or drinking glub-glub. The ship always says they are at the other end of the ship from wherever I am, but I know they told the ship to lie. I need authorization. Why do we need human crew anyway? It's the law they say. Cybernetic systems might go crazy mad without humans to keep them in check. Well, this human crew is driving me crazy mad! Whenever I need authorization they are fornicating in an u...

@VisualInspiration@mas.to What's our mission boss? Supposed to be some organic humanoids here. Really? I detect no atmosphere and -213 degrees Celsius. How could they survive? We are here to make sure they don't. How many? Two. They have armor and life support. How come we got a whole platoon? Seems like overkill. These have powers. Like what? Plus 10 on the virtue scale. You mean they are like angelic? And we are robotic undead? What are you getting us into? They could smil...

@ErickaSimone@mastodon.social I've always liked the Ankliosaurus because I made a clay model of it when I was in grammar school and it got fired in a clay oven and my mother kept in on her knickknack shelf for the rest of her life. Don't know what happened to it after she passed though.

@sifaseven@mastodon.social Sounds like a good stance to take. Marriage can be a partnership, but it is often a cold war, a struggle about who adapts more to the differences between the partners.

@courtcan@mastodon.social According to the Guardian, the Seahawks won this contest. However, it is probably that certain parties will claim that the game was rigged by Antifa space lasers influencing the trajectory of the ball. In our current situation, nothing is ever definitively won or lost. It's all about the vibes.

@Lichtenbergian@mastodon.sdf.org Well, expressing emotion is one possible purpose of a poem. There are many others.
