I think I'm funny. And my opinion is the only one that counts.

Setting up job interviews for much better positions on my first day at a new job is certainly empowering. It's super rare that I have the opportunity to inconvenience a company.

Mobile service situation at my new employer is really bad. I'm going to need to figure out a VPN (I have the capacity to do it through my own setup at home) so I don't feel paranoid about my employer seeing my browsing habits.

So I start my job tomorrow. I de-gayified my person (and a tiny bit of my car that's possible) when I interviewed. How soon to I be obviously gay at work?

Dude behind me on this airplane keeps saying "tranny" in an incredibly loud volume. He seems to be talking about a truck but I'm pretty sure he's fucking not. Taking everything not to snap my head around.

My local library just dropped a pride merch collection that's bigger and better than Target's.

One thing I've had to navigate a bunch during my job hunt has been the sheer number of positions that got listed which the company has no intention of filling. Some are bait and switch. Where they have similar roles they move you into. Some are just cool positions where I assume they are just gambling up resumes and contact information for.

Wife found a new Harley Quinn Halloween costume at the thrift shop for a dollar. It fits me.

So I got a job. Yay. could be a better job but I've got more interviews. But what does a bad bitch like me wear to work? This is factory work (I'm going to have a desk in an office but also be out in the factory daily) so I'm wearing pants (jeans) and safety toe boots, and I have those covered. But what sort of top/shirt does one wear to an office? Also related I have exactly one interview fit. It's not great and the shirt is my wife's. And I sorta need to wear my safety to...

Unlocked a memory where I was singing Lovefool by The Cardigans in 9th grade while doing tryouts for the HS football โฝ team. I was singing it at people while doing various 1 on 1 drills. I remember almost getting decked because of it and I switched up to Barbie Girl by Aqua. I did have this memory but I did just unlock Lovefool. Not sure that's cis-dude behavior. Maybe it is because I sure as hell got underneath a bunch of kids' skin.

I got a tattoo yesterday. My first one ever. It's a reminder of a bruise I received from being shot with a "less lethal" foam round from a 40mm grenade launcher back in 2020.

My life has been looking up the past 8 or so weeks. Everything isn't perfect. Still lots of challenges. But it's been on an upward arc, and that arc has reasons. And I've been feeling so much better about just everything. That's why I haven't been here as much. It was a place to go when I needed to feel good about being a woman. And the past 8 weeks I haven't really needed that support and have been here less. But I have missed it. And I have reasons to be here more oft...

RE: https://ni.hil.ist/@riotmuffin/116692015962959377 This is the first thing that has me wanting to go into a walmart since a camouflage compression long sleeved shirt did that back in 2003. And back then I just gave my friend money and stayed in the car.

I had low (single digit) T levels using mono therapy estradiol. Before my orchiectomy. I haven't checked any hormone levels since I had my orchiectomy. But did anyone else go down (need to go down) on estradiol injections after their orchiectomy, if you already were very T suppressed?

I was named MVP on my run team for the past year! I'm so happy!

So I was at my run team anniversary dinner tonight with my run team friends. And two interesting things happened. First I won MVP for the past year (there's another past for that). The second one is I was talking in a small group with a new person who joined a few months ago. I end up telling a story which involves somewhat importantly that I had a bare chest with my school's logo written on it. And this new person, I see it in her face. She had no idea I was trans until that mom...
