  I thought I had lost my $30 ebay special camera (Now 21 years old!) Panasonic DMC-LZ2. There is something about the photos it takes I just like. Ends up it was just shoved in a cupboard during a clean up.

  Ten years ago I repurposed an old android phone into a solar powered weather camera. Through automations, it would take a photo every ten minutes then update a web page, send out a tweet and image on a Facebook page. Worked for a few years!
