Trans Pride Australia won our category at the Wayahead Mental Health Matters awards for our Friday Night Social online meetup. I coordinate the group, but it has had many years of good people running it, and I made sure to mention that as I accepted the award. These include @ada &amp; @supakaity who handed it to me. @ada @shoq@mastodon.social It's still only getting half of it right if #calckey is gonna be a voice for decentralisation of the #Fediverse but not for safety. The more I see the #fediverse culture change with the influx of redditors to Lemmy &amp; Kbin more I wonder how long the microblogging side of things is safe from the encroachment of the reply guys et al even before Facebook Threads shows up. I follow Ada's Blåhaj Lemmy account here and seeing the reply threads to one of her recent #Lemmy moderation decisions in my #Firefish timeline I wish most of these folks were siloed elsewhere.
