  We're making good progress on upki, our collaboration with the rustls project to bring browser-grade web PKI capabilities to low level system utilities. The first beta release makes available revocation checks based on CRLite filters from Mozilla. #Canonical is hosting the backend service, and is now making a PPA available so you can try out upki in #Ubuntu, as well as a patched version of OpenSSL that makes use of the new capability.   Just replaced the Mediatek wireless card in my Framework 13 with an Intel AX210 vPro card. My experience with the Mediatek one has been that it's very fast when it's very fast, but the driver has some real shortcomings with regards to stability when roaming between APs. For anyone with a Ryzen powered Framework, the Intel wireless card works just fine, despite what the website might indicate 😇

  Today the #Ubuntu Foundations team posted an update on our progress toward 100% uutils coreutils adoption in Ubuntu. As we stand for the release of 26.04 LTS, all utils except `cp`, `mv` and `rm` will be using uutils by default, with those remaining to be moved across early in the 26.10 cycle.
