Has anyone tried the nextcloud "AIO" container image? A friend wants to use it but it gives me serious heebie jeebies / 🚨🚨🚨

I’m possibly over thinking my new ice skates. Still undecided

A fantastically in-depth look at some visage remixes. I love this blog http://www.versioncrazy.com/2026/04/07/visage-fade-to-grey-1988-cd-single/ #music

Is OneDrive serious software used by actual people? I’ve been sent a share link to some files which aren’t numerous or especially large and it’s sending me ZIPs at about 10kiB/s which end up containing only half the files and an apologetic __all_errors.txt listing the missing ones. 🤡🤡🤡

I attempted to download all items in an archive.org collection via torrents (>255 items, >255 torrents). Theory being: potential to get some data from peers, lighten the load on IA; built-in checksumming and repair. I've come to the conclusion that sadly this doesn't work very well. My torrent daemon struggles with so many; lots are permanently at 99%; IA torrents don't include any metadata identifying original vs derived files

Is there any way to tell Prusa Connect that your printer nozzle size has changed?#3dprinting

Prusa Mini+ re-assembled with a new heatblock (and nozzle); first layer calibration looks ok, mostly; Prusa Connect agrees on the nozzle size; all that remains is a test print and hopefully we’re back in business #3dprinting

I finally settled on some new ice skates and placed an order. Now I’m impatient for them to arrive! And I’m not sure they’ll fit, it might take a few iterations

New blog post: Digital gardening https://jmtd.net/log/gardening/ Where I ponder the notion of a digital garden, versus a blog, and point at some recent changes I've made to my homepage which are not blog posts. #meta #web

Got four out of 5 of the awkward screws out of my printer heat block. The last one could probably be cut if I can’t turn it. Assuming I’m sacrificing the heat block.

Plugged my synth back in. That’s a start.

Finished “Robocop: rogue city” so I uninstalled it. Then I thought I’d check out the art book, but it’s “DLC”, so the steam client will only let me download it if I reinstall 30G of game first. (I’m fairly sure there’s some obscure runes to download the “depot” to work around this)

I can't reliably print on my Prusa Mini+ any more and I haven't since they introduced input shaping. I don't know if that's what the problem is, but I'm ruling out most other possibilities: I've just done a nozzle clean and a cold pull, no avail
