  Odd, my Unifi Cloud Gateway ethernet cable link to the ONT dropped from 2.5GbE to just FE. Reseating both ends of the cable fixed it, next time I should check if it’s one end in particular.

  I think I’m just about done with Premium Bonds - I have a relatively decent amount in there (but not near the maximum) and I used to regularly get a monthly prize. This past year I’ve got much less back. #premiumbonds

  Grrr, child 2 left the children’s fitness tracker she got for her birthday last week from her Grandad in her school cardigan pocket and it went through the wash. I guess I’ll be buying a new one then.

  Having a look at our (tiny) magic club’s rules/constitution and realising it’s majorly out of date. I’m hoping I can rewrite and simplify and get it sorted for next month as to change it probably needs a formal EGM. Will try and write something in for the future that allows collective agreements via an online method to avoid the need to all meet in person! Also changing the age from 14 or over to 18 or over as otherwise we’re in safeguarding territory and we really don’t need that!

  Thanks to @kevinpowell for a fantastic course: HTML & CSS for Absolute beginners (https://thecascade.dev/courses/html-css-beginners/) which has really helped me get back up to speed with more up to date practices.   I relented and bought the YardForce MB400 from Aldi to keep my little lawn in check. You can communicate with it via BLE from an app, so now I’m wondering if it’s possible to configure @homeassistant via an @esphome bluetooth device to control it. Time to investigate if I can snoop on the communications and work out the commands (if that’s even possible.) #bluetooth #ble #homeassistant #esphome

  Yet again I’m failing to sleep after my 2nd night shift. Grrr! I only managed about an hours nap from 2:15-3:15 on a sofa, so why can’t I sleep now?!
