  #auspol ABC getting all ambulance-chasey and breathless over a group of women and children escaping Syria. Govt and AFP taking a hard line. I wish the same level of attention and backbone was shown to organised crime firebombing restaurants and other businesses. 🙄

  #auspol I am enjoying all these news stories featuring wealthy people whining about changes to the discretionary trusts, and how they won't be able to avoid tax or that they will have to make some changes to continue avoiding tax. 🤪

  I would never discourage anyone from gardening, but this is wildly optimistic. Growing vegetables takes time, space and effort, and money - you need fertilisers and soil conditions. I find this kind of story not only misleading, but can set people up for disappointment with what should be a joyful pastime.   Ugh. I just made the mistake of answering my phone and, of course, it was a charity asking for (more) money. I've been donating to them monthly for 30 years. But, the call centre person wasn't going to accept that I wouldn't increase my regular amount. I had to end up hanging up on them. 😡

  #auspol I wish the WA govt would do this. At the very least, they should make train travel up and down the Kwinana Freeway free. That road is like a parking lot from Rockingham to Canning Bridge, regardless of the time of day.
