  2026 is the year I’ve finally got back to watching classic #movies. I’m not a #scifi guy but I’ve watched Close Encounters(finally!!), Invaders from Mars(👍), Earth vs the Flying Saucers(👎), and non-sci-fi The Producers(original) and The Lost Weekend. EDIT: And Wild Strawberries!(👍) #Film

  Alright, #Linux folks(who believe is 97% of #Mastodon)…I have had #LinuxMint installed on my old laptop a while. Used it sparingly but haven’t found a purpose for it other than trying out Linux. I have a #Macbook as my main computer. What other version should I try and what should I use it for? I don’t code or use terminal much. Not a “power user.” #tech #technology

  I’ve been job hunting since graduating with a #Business degree in August. I haven’t heard back from over 1500 applications and I wonder if I should remove my 17 years of work at one job. The whole “age” thing may be disqualifying me. #work #career

  @calsnoboarder They’ve covered it for years and now they broadcast shows, too. The same way MTV isn’t MusicTelevision and History Channel barely covers history. It brings different eyes to their content and that makes them money.

  @calsnoboarder Nobody’s debating that it’s scripted. It’s sports entertainment. My point is: they don’t care because it brings in money for them. Just like the other networks not serving their original purpose. E-sports isn’t sports either but ESPN has reported on them and covered them because it’s money.
