It is that time of year again. My daughter is a third-grade #teacher at a suburban school north of #Boston. 80% of her students are ESL (English as a second language) students. She's not allowed to advertise on the Book of Face, probably because it's too embarrassing. Every year my Mastodon family comes through magnificently, picking great stuff from her Amazon #wishlist. I'm not feeling very patriotic these days, but this drink was pretty good. It's still unbearably hot out, with a feels-like temp upwards of 110°F / 43.3°C. It's 9:30pm, and it's still 87°F / 30.5°C. of course, folks in warmer climes probably laugh at us, but days over 100 are still very rare. Our room AC didn't really keep up! #boston #scorcha

Haley is the newest foster #cat here for a few days. She is just a cuddle monster and wants to get scritches and give head butts. Of course, she punctuates those with the occasional hiss and the little nip, too. She got dumped off at the vets in a bag. No idea who or why. It’s so tragic. But we will get her calmed down and adopted in no time. Isn’t she beautiful? If you’re in the #Boston area, we’re looking for a foster and or an Adopter for her! Morning Mastodonians! After a lot of driving yesterday (to Cambridge to drop my wife off at work, west side of Woburn for hockey, the other side of Woburn for an office visit, back home, back to Cambridge, and home), I’m looking forward to a quiet day at the home office #Today. The only thing on the schedule besides a few work meetings is a #Passover dinner at a friend‘s house as the token Gentiles. The food is good and the conversation excellent. Of course, that means no 4 Guys Co-op, though.

Cheers everyone! Things everywhere are pretty terrible, so just for #today, we&#39;re going to hunker down and have a fancy Bloody Mary. We cleaned house, and now I&#39;m going to settle in front of the TV, watch some #RedSox baseball, and dream of warmer days ahead. Right? RIGHT? #cocktails
