  Two things I really want from a music streaming service: 1. An actually random sort, no weighting. If I'm shuffling my own playlist, I want to listen to all of it. The stupid weighting algorithm is self-fulfilling. I listen to the first n songs, which adds weight to them, so next time I listen, those pop up first, weighting them more, and I never hear the rest.) 2. Relatedly, remember the shuffle order of the last playlist I listened to. Don't reshuffle every time I get in the car.

  Tried to watch the new Jack Ryan movie but DNF'd. I know I cry "AI!" whenever something kind of sucks, but this really was bad in an "AI" way. Lots of overdramatic, kind of nonsensical dialog that sounds vaguely like something Jack would say, but doesn't quite mean anything. This timeline is so dumb.

  Just reread Pet Sematary for the first time since I was, like, 13. It's funny how things stick with you long after you remember what it's from. Whenever I'm digging a hole for gardening or whatever, I always think about how there won't be enough dirt to fill it back in, and I had totally forgotten that was about grave dirt. #horror #amreading #amreadinghorror

  Upon this rewatch of Princess Bride, I'm realizing just how bad Wesley's mustache is. They trimmed too much off the right side, so it's lopsided. I was so embarrassed for him! (The movie is otherwise perfect, no notes)

  Can I just say that it's unnecessarily confusing that the reboot of Scrubs is just called "Scrubs" but it's a new season 1 instead of continuing with season 10? So there are two things called "Scrubs season 1" on Disney+ with an almost identical thumbnail.

  Every couple of years, we decide to watch all the MSQ Star Wars movies, and it goes like this: episode IV, V, VI, half of episode I, then quit. This time we made it through episode I, and I'm delighted to find that episode II is better than I remember. I mean, it's no episode IV through VI, but it's a LOT better than episode I.
