@decryption on a similar note, where I’m working switched to 4K 27 inch display scaled to 1440p and … it’s fine? I’ve always been hardline 1x or retina only but it looks nicer than my 1440p monitor even with Better Display on.

@decryption I’m mostly just sad at the huge gulf between a good 4K display ($800 AUD) and Apple’s 5K display ($3000 AUD with high adjustable stand). Feels especially rich since we used it get it for “free” with an entry level 27 inch iMac.

Thank god we have a more affordable 5K monitor available in Australia again. Cannot stomach even one studio display for the price let alone the two I’d want. https://tapbots.social/@paul/113411128259179931

@decryption even though the actual quality of the telephoto is rough in low light that reach is just too good to give up, even just for the composition options it unlocks.

@decryption if it makes you feel better - I saw it in 70mm but found the flickering too distracting! So the big TV style of the Onyx might have been a solid choice.

@bjango Hi there - suddenly only seeing 5 days of forecasts with Willy Weather / BOM selected. Is this the new limitation with this provider? I’d prefer to only use the BOM for weather data.
