An Acupuncture randomised clinical trial, involving 800 participants aged 65 and older, demonstrates that acupuncture combined with usual medical care significantly reduced back pain-related disability by 1.0 to 1.5 points on the Roland-Morris Disability Questionnaire compared to usual care alone.
