    For those in the south preparing for this winter storm, it might be a good idea to get a water shut-off key if you lose power and your pipes freeze.     @franklinlopez @axolotl yeahh life has been pretty crazy along with work taking up a ton of my time recently. But I&amp;#39;m trying to get back into posting and writing more. A big thing for me is taking everything and self hosting it and moving to platforms that aren&amp;#39;t as poisoned as Substack (made it a long time ago when it first became a thing). I for sure want to make my own versions, print and digital standalones, and zines for the smaller stuff. Maybe combine it into a physical/...

    Finally pulled the trigger on a huge change/improvement that I&amp;#39;ve been working on for a while. I&amp;#39;ve finally found the motivation to start writing again, I don&amp;#39;t know where it went - and why it&amp;#39;s back, but needless to say I&amp;#39;m back babyyyyy!!!!

    Got subscriptions for the blog back up and running! Mailgun banned my last account when I tried to send the new posts out to everyone. That broke logging in as a subscriber, and broke the ability for people to subscribe. Things should be back to normal though. Unless Mailgun decides to nuke my account lol.

    I updated my post about moving from Substack to Ghost to include my battle with Mailgun, and switching to AWS SES. Had to install a proxy that didn&amp;#39;t have the best documentation, so I made my own. Still waiting on AWS to give me production access so logins and subscriptions are still broken, but hoping to get them up this week. https://blog.hydroponictrash.solar/moving-from-substack-to-ghost/

The new blog is at: https://blog.hydroponictrash.solar/ This has been a long time coming, and I appreciate people telling me over the years that I should leave Substack. It&amp;#39;s finally happened! I went through ALL of my posts and fixed spelling/grammar issues, updated all of the links, and cleaned things up in general.
