Ran out of space for photos on my drive. Have to beat Halo to make room.

Always amused by how AI completely misunderstands how waves work (and people post the images anyway)

Having fun with my Analogizer. A community device for Analogue Pocket that lets you connect it to CRTs and retro controllers. It's a MiSTer for people who should just get a MiSTer!

Discovered a retro arcade deep in Kenner, Louisiana that I'd never heard of! Mostly popular games and condition isn't always great, but the New Orleans area has been very lacking in that category.

This is so cool. This guy has been making this imaginary map for ages, and his actions in building and editing it are dictated by a system decided by a deck of cards. Looks amazing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Is8N7B9b0GQ

I'm a big fan of this band, played them a lot on my radio show and reviewed this record and the one before it. Found a test pressing of their new record on my porch today :)

Big day for us. My 3yo just cleared her allergy challenge for egg. Egg and almond down. Dairy, sesame, peanuts and a whole bunch of tree nuts to go. We're probably going to put her on allergy injections (xolair) to help fight the rest but knocking egg off the list is huge.

Either "We're a cash free store" Or "We're cash only" You should know, neither endears me to you

Trying to load an old iPad with very limited drive space full of kids shows and I know they won't give a shit about 720p vs 480p but I'm agonizing about it

All a billionaire has to do to change public perception in their favor is fully fund the HD restoration of Voyager and Deep Space Nine.

Been up since 4am because of storms that eventually wound up with tornadoes 3 miles away. Now I'd like to sleep again

Looking for something in the front of the house using my phone as a flashlight. I see something in the window Was that a rat on our fence? I shine the light through the window. It's not. It's TWO rats fucking on our fence.

The idea of "lifetime purchase" makes me sad. That's supposed to be what a purchase is.

I keep a Facebook profile for promotion of my radio show. I check it because it's still the best way to find news for bands that I follow. It's not a personal account, I only follow a page attached to another promotional account. It will not stop putting suggested conservative pages on my feed. I'll tell it "stop showing me things like this" and it'll show me the exact same page later. This is Mastodon so I know y'all know this, but FB...

I dreamt that I saw a tiny gila monster on the sidewalk. I took a picture. Then, aware that I was dreaming, pondered how I could extract photos from an SD Card in a dream into the waking world.

YouTube's algorithm is made to radicalize and send you down rabbit holes. Also I'm so happy it suggested I watch this high school news video with 26 views. https://youtu.be/YpkO7aUjRQ0

I'm recovering from a vasectomy this weekend which strikes as a great opportunity to hunker down for a game of Civilization. Anybody played 7? Worth getting or should I stick with 6?

Y'all, Louisiana is going off the rails. The state AG is threatening the New Orleans mayor and other elected officials with appointees over a proposal she doesn't like. And this is stemming from a removal of the position of a statewide elected official before he could take office. Our state government hates democracy. https://www.nola.com/news/politics/moreno-response-clerk-of-court/article_f5337578-5444-448a-84a6-19e7eb450f1d.html#tncms-source=featured-top

Let's skip the next two months so October can be the eighth month and December can be the 10th month like their names suggest.
