  something i'm noticing with mastodon is that clout-chasing culture is so far almost nonexistent here. you know that birdsite dynamic where people who think of themselves as bigger just straight-up ignore thoughtful interactions from people whom they perceive as smaller? as though they're better than you, and interacting with you might reduce their cachet? SO glad to be rid of that toxicity for the time being. hopefully it doesn't migrate here once the famous people catch...

  we did some little mix touch-ups (and a couple of lowkey overhauls) last night, and this morning are listening straight through to the first assembled version of 80s kids 2. and, you guys, holy shit, it's SO GOOD. i think probably way better than the first 80s kids record. can not WAIT for you all to hear it!! ❤️
