Did you know: Spider plants are considered mild hallucinogens for cats? Probably, if you have a cat & a spider plant. I did not know this. Miss Raven was spending time on the windowsill in the toilet, communing with the spider plant that sits there. She only wanted to look at the plant. No eat. Only look. Ok, sniff. The supermarket delivery person dropped off a bag that we didn’t order & was meant for someone else. I really hope the delivery person picks it up & takes it to them, bc it’s full of yummy stuff they might have ordered to celebrate their Matariki 🤞

This morning Miss jumped on the toilet lid, as always, to worry the (non toxic) plant on the window sill above. Except for this one time, someone hadn’t closed the lid. She was not a very happy puss, when she found herself in the toilet with one very soggy leg 😂

My current pastime while we’re out for a walk, is collecting rubbish that’s been dropped or left. I have negotiated with my husband that I get to designate a section of any walk for rubbish collection. This morning we both got stuck in at a spot where someone had sat one of the nights recently, eating & drinking. It’s one of those things where, maybe I can’t do much for our community, but I can do that much.

No cat pics so far today. She’s currently asleep on my chest with her cheek on mine. Our previous cat Cooper took a couple of weeks to warm up to us. He started by resting on our ankles before making his way up to our laps. This cat is not like that. At all. She has been smooching on me all day until I lay down for a rest, at which point she piled on. Anyhoo, back to being a cat mattress, I guess.

This young miss walked in like the queen she’d always been. She was pleased with all she now owned before she’d even surveyed it. As for us, she’d known us long before we met, &amp; we were deemed suitable, sniff. Also she is sooo tiny! Cooper used to weigh 6kg, while this lass weighs 3.whatever.kg, I can’t remember her weight. She takes up next to no space &amp; she fits into all sorts of places. #Caturday #Cat #CatsOfMastodon
