  The whole client is open source, but idk if you can simply call the API with a token for a linked device or something. Pretty sure Signal doesn’t want “chatbots” on their networks and it might be against ToS.

  I’m in the “Fuck AI” crowd even though I currently heavily use LLMs, specifically for the reason that slopcoders, techbros and memelords destroy the planet. I’m in the same boat as those people and that’s specifically why I hate it.

  Not yet, but I’m sure AI bros will find a way to mass register bots here. I already reported lots of people who had a distinct AI writing style. Over time it will be harder to distinguish those from real users 😓

  At some point a few years into the future you can be that interesting person people install Signal for. I told multiple people that I don’t reply on social media. Approximately 70% of them installed Signal and the rest will just call or SMS me.
