  My oshi Mori Calliope mentioned this. I want to try it and see how it tastes. Update: it is fluffy and mild and pleasing. It has a gentle and not overpowering sweetness, and the banana flavor is present yet understated. Overall, a nice sweet. It would pair well with coffee.

  I woke up at 03:40 due to the heat so I went over to a nearby 24hr grocery store. It reminded me of how much I missed 24hr WalMart service in the States. It was really nice being able to get in and out of the store quickly with no one else in line and only a simple interaction with a store clerk.

  One of the more bizarre threads i found on twitter contained pictures of common products whose wrapping and logos were redesigned via AI to give them cigarette packaging looks and style. Inmo the RC cola can looks the swankiest.

  The Japanese dub for "Masters of the Universe" (2026) has some Metal Gear alumni like Ohtsuka Akio (Snake) dubbing a guest appearance of Dolph Lungren and Tomokazu Sugita (Kazuhira Miller) dubbing Skeletor. If you like fantasy movies and also happen to be fans of those voice actors, you might well enjoy watching the movie with the Japanese dub.

  At the end of my trip I stopped at Gusto to use their wifi and upload my pics. I also wanted to eat a cheeseburger while I did that, so I did. It wasn't too bad, about a very high B+ in terms of patty quality and cheese.

  @DrTomTilley on twitter showed another custom controller he made using guts from an optical mouse. This is a custom one designed for playing Puzzle Bobble/Bust A Move. It also still works as a coffee bean grinder.

  I reheated a frozen sandwich in my rice cooker. That's handy because it doesn't make as much noise as the air fryer, so I can use it for hot breakfasts going forward. On the topic of rfrozen sandwiches, I think I'll set up some homebrew egg mcmuffins and freeze them for meal prep next weekend.
