I’m looking for an article (blog post?), shared here (I think) a while ago (months, probably) about generative AI, revolving around the phrase “I want to see you try”. The author was stating that they appreciate people making a messy effort to e.g. write something themselves a lot more than reading perfectly bland AI-generated copy. This sentence has been on my mind a lot recently, but I can’t find the source article anymore. Anyone remembers and has it bookmarked? Thanks! 🙏

I had never heard of DDC/CI until I stumbled upon this post https://chaos.social/@vidister/109794861242265589 (thanks @tomster), then found https://github.com/waydabber/BetterDisplay for Macs in the replies… now I can control my Dell screen’s brightness using the Apple keyboard brightness keys and never have to use the crappy OSD ever again. My eyes are quite sensitive to screen brightness, so I adjust it often and this is honestly a game changer. The week is off to a great start! 😅
