  I worked with a dude who loved “ramen” but had never had it from a restaurant. He didn’t seem like he knew how to cook particularly well, and I’m not sure if he’d ever even left the suburbs he was born in.   I remember getting made fun of in middle school for listening to Nevermind, you know just a landmark in rock music because it was at the time almost 10 years old. Sigh.
