I first came across the great work done by the Interference Archive while watching recordings of the 2017 Colloquium on Libraries and Archives in the Anthropocene. Currently, they are hosting an exhibition of the work done over the past decade by Librarians and Archivists with Palestine https://librarianswithpalestine.org/ They'll be closed for the holidays starting on the 22nd so if you're near Brooklyn during that time head on over and check it out. https://interferencearchive....

This time of year is often an absolute goat rodeo, nevertheless I'd like to invite you to take part in a webinar that I'm giving in just over a month, hosted by the Environmental & Sustainability section of IFLA. The webinar I’m giving on librarianship & #climatejustice for IFLA’s Environment & Sustainability series is one week away! Register here: https://www.ifla.org/events/ifla-ensuib-webinar-series-mack-framework/ if you are interested in a primer on the intersection between these practices and some thoughts about orienting your local institution, whether you work for it or not.

Low key asking @jessamyn...

Though I'm conflicted about it, I flew for the first time in 10 years to present some of my thesis work on undertaking systemic #climatejustice in libraries at the 2023 IFLA#wlic, so if you're attending please come say "hi" or "hoi" so we can collaborate and/or learn from each other
