Added a kiwix server to my local server setup. It took… no time at all really. Probably one of the easiest things I’ve done in forever and it just worked. Next up is either going to be Kavita or Immich - depends how I’m feeling after I take care of things that need to get done today. #HomeServer #HomeLab

Just sitting in a parking lot for the next hour and a half while my kid is in the rink for #hockey tryouts. Yup, tryouts for next season. When the hockey season is over, the hockey season is not over. At least after today it’s back to lacrosse for him and won’t have to think about hockey for a little while.

New WiFi module that actually plays nice with #Linux installed in old laptop. Was getting tired of it capping at around 30/30. Now with a module that plays nice the laptop is getting about 750/750.

I’ve been using Mastodon for awhile, but never gave a proper #introduction. So here we go. I’m a father of two boys. A former IT geek who ended up working in breweries, then becoming an actual brewer at a small pub. It eventually closed, and I transitioned to full time #stayathomedad . I play #hockey, I dabble with #Writing, I love #SciFi and #Fantasy, I #homebrewbeer, I’m a #youthhockey dad, and I’m trying to get back in to #ttrpg. I currently have 3 #Cats. That’s a snapshot of my life.
