I hate that Windows 11 keeps reminding me about the world sucking, please stop telling me that the stocks for this horrific company are shooting up or that some idiot in power is continuing to destroy stuff.

If I got a second phone number on my phone, would it be possible to tell Android to immediately reject all calls from the old number but still give me notifications about them? I'm getting really tired of all of this spam and I'm considering trying to switch, but I'm going to need to keep my other number around for a while until I get all of the pseudo two factor off of it.

@RandomDamage I know you can't stop them but it really feels like I'm getting a ridiculous amount. It's like 5 a day.

I wonder how hard it is to search for automotive bidirectional heat pump systems. If I ever get around to converting a car to electric I'm definitely going to want to do that for the better efficiency.

I have a networking challenge I need to address one of these days: there are ethernet drops where I live that are: - damaged - nailed to studs - in insulated walls - not in conduit How in the world am I supposed to fix this without punching holes into the drywall?

@byte@awawa.club Got any instances you'd recommend me to move to? I moved here kinda quickly and it seems to have been a bit of a mistake.

So it turns out I need to switch instances again. Does anyone have recommendations for technology focused instances that allow for non-tech posts that aren't likely to pick scum of the earth moderation staff and then ignore the issues with that? Edit: I'm going to have a fairly aggressive timeline on this, I want to move by tonight or tomorrow.
