I installed wxMaxima on the aarch workstation. For some reason all glib applications take a very long time to start and im not sure how to debug it.

If anyone here has an #anritsu MS269x series Signal Analyzer, I need one file from the C: drive. The "C:\Program Files\Anritsu Corporation\Signal Analyzer\Applications\PanelKey.xml" file contains the mapping for the rubber key pad in the front. Someone deleted the contents of this file on my unit and the keyboard does not work. Can someone help and share the original file contents? #rf #electronics (photo from EEVblog for reference)

Some wasted time trying to cross-build the linux-gpib subsystem for OpenWRT. It seems its difficult to cross compile if not impossible, the only small enough computer I had is a mini-itx via C3 motherboard. I was planning to boot Debian on it but they stopped providing 32 bit installer images

I've been making small HF transformers and I'm quite happy that the results matched the expected value pretty close once I used a proper HF core and calibrated the VNAs

I guess I should write an #introduction - im a 26 year old engineer, I usually mess around with electronics gear, including RF, and unusual computers. I repair them and try to make them do useful things. Sometimes I deal with older software as well so it's a bit of #retrocomputing. I do programming a lot so expect this type of content too.
