Here’s a weird #snake I saw in north east #Oregon over the weekend

    Is it just me or has every Cloudflare page guard been failing since last night? Perhaps I turned into a malicious bot without realizing it…

    @Tamami that’s quite lovely

    @mlanger it’s 48 here in Walla Walla, no snow to be seen

  • Post #976408

    @mlanger occasional light rain so far, I hadn’t realized you are 1000 feet higher than WW.

  • Post #976407

    @mlanger oh you might enjoy this YouTube video (there are multiple) of riding a tug from Lewiston to the pacific https://youtu.be/6xLh3yTkJ3w

  • Post #976406

    @mlanger oh, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I missed it when you shared it. I follow so many I miss much of what gets posted ... one of the downsides of not having an algorithmic feed.

    @mlanger Nice! I did see the picture of your house you posted the other day. It looks lovely. We're in town in WW just south of Pioneer Park. Great location for being in town, but packed in with people, no view to speak of.

    @andrewnez that is nifty

    @LabSpokane @mlanger did x mark the spot?

    @alyx standard mk2 flux capacitor… Why do you tempt us with these things?

  • Post #976401

    @GossiTheDog uh how do we make this happen

  • Post #976400

    @wtfismyip @tassoman it happens to the best us and us too.

    @the_guy_with_the_bison_tattoo that’s what 84% looks like?

  • Post #976394

    @the_guy_with_the_bison_tattoo I’m just kind of surprised … if you brought that up to 100% my impression would still be “there’s no snow!”. Maybe you’re on the west, here’s an 84% https://nwcc-apps.sc.egov.usda.gov/awdb/site-plots/POR/WTEQ/MT/Hawkins%20Lake.html?showYears=2026

    @dougfir@mastodon.social @ai6yr @cvvhrn my seventh grade science teacher started the year with a slide show of a whole variety of eye injuries. I was well motivated to cover my eyes after that.

  • Post #496987

    @mlanger as a person with a recent foot injury, I regret having taken my carefree mobility for granted. Go for it, you’ll probably be happy to have done so.

    @Mactonex absolutely spectacular

    @mlanger nice, safe travels. I hadn’t realized one exists.

  • Post #496980

    @andrewbriscoe I don’t want to discourage you but if all that work is done competently, $1500 sounds like a great price

  • Post #496979

    @andrewbriscoe I understand, I fall into the category of people who break bolts off in things… and then break tungsten bolt extraction bits off inside those bolts.

  • Post #496978

    @andrewbriscoe I do wish you the best of luck and hopefully you have a dry place to work

    I had been wondering what the trend of "Number of days over 80F in Phoenix in February". Here's what I came up with using GSOD #weather #python
