#ThreeGoodThings 1. Discovering that two-prong outlets with tested fully pathed metal box and conduit back to the panel ground can be swapped out for 3-prong without much hassle. 2. Happily seeing slow but measurable progress in getting the dust to settle on our household shake-up. 3. Having the energy and time to take on daily projects to incrementally improve our space and set us up for good things in the future.

As much as I love this house, and how it works for us, it might actually be time to start figuring out how to get into a more permanent place with freedoms to be a little more radical with the space and the infrastructure. Our house tends to be dark, but part of that is keeping out the riff raff since we live on an arterial. Part of it is the need for total darkness to sleep, so we have meticulously tucked and pinned blackout curtains for the bedroom that don&#39;t really work well to ope...
