Claude Code is shitty, I'm not sure why people enjoy it so much.

No Other Choice is a movie that translates very well the feeling of how LLM usage is imposed during late stage capitalism, even if indirectly. What a great movie that hits too close to home. #movie #ai

Also on LLM usage, to me it feels like, above all things, it is the new branch of industrial pollution, specially considering how people are using it for anything stupid. #ai #rant

Product Managers should never touch code. Software Engineers exist to prevent stupid, greedy choices to infiltrate the code base. Without that protection layer you get an abusive product with shitty code.

What I hear from young, new students in university is that "no one writes code anymore", and they use AI for every single piece of code they need to write. Assignments? They use AI to do them. Learning exercises? They let AI do them. Well, it's everywhere really. They open VSCode (or even Cursor these days, WTF) and, if not through a prompt, it's through that goddamn Copilot autocomplete. My guess is that, in the future, there will be a boom in managing positio...

There are companies trying to hire South American folks in order to train AI with Software Engineering knowledge. They pay in dollars so it's tempting for such folks to give in.
