Weird: @ivory has been setting my post visibility to “followers only” by default. It’s not a bad default, but I’d prefer my default to be “public” for the first post in a thread and “unlisted” from then on. Sent email; will report back.

Whoa, remember when people would send silly email to president@whitehouse.gov as if it’d be handled with humour or proportionality?

I think I’m getting allergic to grift. Thirst traps, click bait, thumbnail face, weird flexes, reaction shots… there’s a weird greasy feel to it all, like too much codeine.

“This isn’t an accident. This is…” not as well schemed as it seems in hindsight, I reckon? We don’t need a conspiracy to explain it: incentives are enough. We’re livestock to them, sure, got it; how are we going to get out of this pen?

“The Aristocrats”, only the punchline is “shareholder value!”

@ai6yr was it you with the HOA strife recently?

Goal: screen print T shirt for joke before context flushed to the Lethe. Quality goal: bootleg Bauhaus T-shirt, Melbourne, 1990. UV transfer with a resin printer LCD sounds quick and fun but I can’t find an off-the-shelf design and I’d never finish home-brewing one. Cricut® shite is too stiff on shirts; any of you tried ironing it on screen film?
