  Hot on the heels of v1.1.2, FreeCAD 1.1.3 is out to include a patch we forgot backporting. The new version includes a fix for repeated version update warnings when saving files. There are no security risks or crashes involved, but the warnings are annoying, so you will likely want to upgrade! https://www.freecad.org/downloads.php?lang=en

  Tutorial: Importing and Using Scaled Reference Images Often we might need to create geometry to fit real world objects that we don't have a CAD model for. Whilst we might jump to complex 3D scanning methods and more, sometimes a simple reference image, or images, can really help the process. The rules are simple: fix 5 confirmed issues from the FreeCAD GitHub issue tracker and receive a reward of €250.
