Did day release for the mother in law and surprised her with an inflatable cake for her 86th birthday (she should get released from rehab in the next few days but have to go back for follow up while still in a moonboot). There was real cake as well and homemade sweet and sour pork as she requested. Also did day release for the father in law so they could spend some time together. I&#39;m exhausted.

Moussaka in the oven. Bf asked me to make it again after loving it a couple of weeks ago. Fingers crossed I can meet his expectations.

Today was a public holiday for me so spent the morning helping a friend get some structure around how to move forward with her PhD, then went to the mother-in-law&#39;s to get the house ready for her hopeful return on Wednesday, and have spent the afternoon doing cooking so we have leftovers and can have an easy week considering we will probably be juggling other responsibilities.
