  Up on FehrTrade - a quick top I sewed using a grey cotton jersey remnant and an old fave pattern!   Last RB: apparently this is how I find out my mastodon instance is closing forever - by someone else randomly boosting it into my feed. 😐 No email, no notice, no nothing. I harbour zero ill will for the person running & closing it, but the systems in place are woefully inept. Signing up to an instance in the first place was SUCH a ball ache that I’m already dreading migrating & wondering if it’s worth it at all…

  I bought this 100% linen in Paris & paired it with a shirtdress pattern from the 10/24 Burda magazine. Despite looking like a basic belted shirtdress at first glance, the tie is integrated into the dress pleats itself!   I know of a very nicely converted 30-ish metre Dutch barge going cheap (zone 2 London mooring spot not included but rental agreement transferable) if anyone knows of anyone looking to buy? (The conversion was done by the previous owners and is sound. Current owners are clueless.) #boatlife
