<p><a href="https://ohai.social/tags/privacy" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>privacy</span></a> <a href="https://ohai.social/tags/research" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>research</span></a></p><p>I dedicate this account to the issue of fediverse privacy.</p><p>Unfortunately we are seeing a widespread use of software as an alternative to corporate networks that does not encrypt private messages and user data. </p><p>Mastodon makes it very easy to sniff on users and should be rejected by a community of people with many having a professional background in programming and security.</p><p>As I already received a lot of harassment for pointing out facts I prefer to stay private.</p>
