I think one of the most important things you can do as a leftist is to be disgusted by the injustices around you and never let it break your resolve. The media is a constant stream of negativity because the capitalist owning class wants people to feel hopeless. They want you to feel like change is fundamentally not possible. Creating change is going to be extremely difficult but it's going to be worth it
