I realised yesterday that we have no plans to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the founding of the USA. I remember the bicentennial when I was in high school and what a big thing that was for us. America seems so far away to me now, and not only in distance … not sure what to do about this.

It’s happening! Ceremony starts at 11:00.
