  I really hope that the advent of kindle #obsolescence gets people into hardware/software tinkering and takes the fear out of the word #jailbreak . When I was young I had a Motorola V525. I learned that you could get the v600 by just flashing a rom. I didn’t expect how much fun it is and how empowering this feels to take agency over a device like this. I also later elongated the life of my HTC Desire Z by multiple years by jailbreak and flashing #cyanogenmod - sadly the e-key broke soon after.
