@mms 'Free Windows' is an oxymoron )

I'm reading a doc about CPU extensions and it's full of RAS syndrome (you know, Redundant Acronym Syndrome syndrome), like APIC controller, CPU unit or IP protocol. There are lots of them around us - ATM machine, PIN number, PDF format. Doesn't this irritate you? GUI interface, LCD display, RAM memory?

A former colleague boasts that he pays $20 a month for an AI assistant. It helps him with his work quite well. What I hear: "It's good that it's only $20 and not my entire salary."

@henrik No wonder though. It's like someone come to your service just to tell everyone around how bad your service is. Very predictable move. Things like this have to spread through word of mouth.

@henrik Finnish public administration should take care of its own data accessibility for its citizens. American big tech doesn't have the foggiest idea where Finland is or how it differs from Mozambique. That’s the harsh reality we live in. They’ve got a real idiocracy going on over there in the States, you know?

@tomjennings @fisher @dec23k Oh so you're blaming these little nasty tech guys for not giving you a ready-to-use tool. Aww, how cute
