  @imyke @jsnell Name suggestion for the Designed in California members feed: Front Row. Nod to the media center software we all loved (we all loved it, right?!), keeps the name referential like One More Thing, implies members get a premium seat to the show with full series drops and no ads.

  @marcoarment I’m screaming at my phone listening to the latest ATP about your AirPlay bugs. About a year ago, the HomePods I was using in stereo pair as my main TV speakers started having static noises any time I’d play videos at faster than 1x. AFAIK it never got fixed, to the point I sold the HomePods and switched to Sonos. I feel so vindicated knowing it’s a widespread AirPlay bug.

Increasingly looks like their best (and maybe only) path to ship “LLM Siri” and other delayed AI features/hardware next year will be to power everything with Gemini or Claude as reported. It’s gonna take them so many years to catch up.
