  the crusties have arrived. do not ask me how long this will last, i do not know. perfectly normal, and one of many reasons why getting a piercing for an event (a thing i dearly hope only happens in movies) is best done several months in advance.

  putting hook and eye closures on my cardigans because i am off waist belts for the year. hopefully the hooks will not mess up the cloth in the wash? actual buttons seem like more work than it’s worth. …i could do the teeny snap buttons but opening those is generally detrimental to my manicure.

  casual set has arrived. this one i had sterilized (when they give me the option i’m gonna take it) so it’s all in pieces, which tbh is fine by me. …this one is “casual” because it is (hopefully) less visible through clothing and less likely to snag, the shields are less likely to move around and the bellybutton barbell is (probably?) less heavy. so it’s what i consider more practical.
