i made the dumb mistake today of resetting and wiping a compromised computer instead of first verifying how it was compromised. i was so caught up in preventing access that I forgot to save the logs. ive got a lot to learn in this career o&#39; mine

this computer had been compromised for a month, why why why didnt I just check the previously run commands in the shell before wiping it
