I am staying up wayyy too late, playing video games (Halo Infinite, if you must know). I do this every now and then. I also always regret it the day later as my old gnarled sysadmin fingers don&#39;t like playing FPSes much these days. Yes, I will regret this tomorrow. But my opponents... my opponents will regret it before I do. 😈

My German friend and his partner are visiting Canada. He’s lived here before, and this was her first visit. Her English is better than my German - as a teenager I picked up just enough German to understand README.txt files from Commodore Amiga software from Germany. “Bitte legen Sie die diskette ein!” isn’t exactly conversational German, but it did elicit a few laughs. (I did make sure to properly thank them for their visit in German later though!)
