    This week I finally pulled one of my favorite cameras off the shelf. It still seems mechanically sound, and I&amp;#39;m excited to take it out today and tomorrow for a photowalk. But when I grabbed some rolls of film out of my fridge, I was shocked to see the prices. On the left, pandemic-era film prices (rolls from my fridge). On the right, tariff-era film prices from a local shop here in Austin. #believeinfilm despite the cost

    I spent my afternoon walk today trying to figure out how today&amp;#39;s Facebook &amp;quot;blue check&amp;quot; buffoonery could be real. My conclusion: FB and Zuck are actually rolling out an age-verification product for the new age of censorship (like the Utah bill, and worse). Pay for this new FB service, then when you land on some random website with a FB referrer code or cookie, that website can rely on FB&amp;#39;s age verification.
