  I tried upgrading Raspberry PI OS in place today, from version Bookworm to Trixie (12 to 13). Despite warnings not to do this, the live update mostly went well. There was a conflict with LX Panel, but removing it and then re-adding the panel post-update worked. Honestly, I was expecting more trouble.

  I find it strange people use the line "AI is here to stay" as a reason for adopting it. Air pollution is here to stay too, but that doesn't mean I'm going to swap out my bicycle for a diesel-powered truck. Switching, in both scenarios, would have three effects: 1. Make the environmental situation worse. 2. Not solve any of my problems. 3. Make me gradually less capable and lazy.
