    One of my favorite quotes from Brian Kernighan: Debugging is twice as hard as writing the code in the first place. Therefore, if you write the code as cleverly as you can, you are, by definition, not smart enough to debug it. (Kernighan & Plauger, The Elements of Programming Style, 1974) I force myself to remember it whenever I am tempted to be “too clever” with my code. I think it is only more significant nowadays with the rise of “vibe coding”…
