It's so strange... Bolivia is literally in the midst of a nascent revolution right now. General strike since Monday, massively supported across the poorest, working and middle classes. Public highways blocked. Police evicted from stations across the country (almost always peaceably). 100s of thousands of people marching on the capital. Increasingly unhinged pronouncements from the Paz administration and the Uber wealthy in Santa Cruz. Coverage of this in western media? Practically nothing...

Refs #ChatControl Some of the knee jerk reactions on here are properly ill informed. There were two significant votes. Vote 1. A vote to amend the proposal from the EPP and the Commission, which amendment banned "automated assessment of unknown photos and text" -- in other words, removed Chatcontrol from the text before Parliament. (This was amendment 34) This was opposed by the EPP and the Nazis, but was supported by Renew, Greens, Left and most of Socialists and NonAligned. It p...
