he's from Glasgow, however almost all Scottish people, if they depend on depend speaking to make a living, change their accent a bit and we tend to speak more slowly. to me, he sounds quite mild and proper. still Scottish, i can tell he's from Glasgow ish but his accent isn't strong. also, he's speaking slowly. Our accents vary a lot here. I grew up 35 miles from Glasgow but people there couldn't understand me a lot of the time when I spoke.

@ambitious_bones@lemmy.world @wuphysics87@lemmy.ml which one though? I can guarantee you're not talking about Ayrshire (mine) or (most) Glaswegian. North & Islands are pretty good though.
