  Taking full advantage of the current heat wave in Germany and putting all kinds of retro stuff in the garden for some sun-brighting. A couple of mice were done yesterday already and they turned out nicely. 🙂 I don't care about retro-brighting at all, but if I can do it with just the sun and the conditions are as perfect as they are currently, why not?   Finished working on yet another #Commodore #Amiga 500. This one had a broken audio jack and needed a new keyboard membrane. All fixed and now it's in perfect working order. Not doing anything about the yellowing, as that is just a spare machine. #RetroComputing #RetroGaming

  Ach ja, gerade eine gebrochene Lötstelle am Kopfhörer-Ausgang eines #Fujitsu H730 Notebooks neu verlötet. Zeit für's Löten: 30 Sekunden. Um an die Stelle zu kommen: über eine Stunde, weil Komplettzerlegung nötig. Besonders die eingeklebte Tastatur ist sehr wartungsfreundlich... 😆

  LOL Das Aktivieren von virtuellem Speicher (Auslagerungsdatei) heißt bei meinem #Motorola #razr 50 tatsächlich "KI Boost". 😂 Mittlerweile wird das Wort "#KI" für jeden Schei* verwendet und hat jede Bedeutung verloren.

  Kann jemand ein paar gute #YouTube-Kanäle zu #retrogaming und/oder #retrocomputing empfehlen? Die altbekannten langweilen mich mittlerweile dermaßen oder machen kaum noch Videos bzw. gute... Brauche da mal was neues. Englischsprachige Kanäle bevorzugt!

  I know most people hate these, but the #Trident 8900B is a very nice card for any 286 and 386. It offers perfect compatibility, has great software support, and is also rather fast (they really went south with the 9000). Cleaned and recapped this one today, now it's working again. (had a shorted tantalum cap) btw, this is the original card by Trident. There are other brands, but they just copied the reference design mostly. #RetroComputing

  ##### RESERVIERT ##### Hab hier einen #Amiga 500 über (Rev. 6A), den ich schon länger verkaufen will, leider auch für einen Hunni bisher Null Interesse... Technisch ok, braucht nur eine neue Tastaturfolie. Die meisten Tasten sind tot. Würde den nun alternativ zum Verkauf auch tauschen, suche z.B. einen #Nintendo 3DS in OVP sowie Erweiterungen für meinen Amiga 2000 (SCSI, Grafik, TK, int.   Habe hier ein altes #Toshiba T2100CT, welches als PKS-Laptop bei der Telekom im Einsatz war. Ist ziemlich viel internes Zeugs der Telekom drauf. Sieht jemand da auf Anhieb was Interessantes, das gesichert werden müsste? Da ich die Restore-Disketten habe, werde ich das Teil komplett platt machen und neu installieren - und aus Datenschutzgründen mache ich kein Image-Backup der Festplatte im Ist-Zustand. Also: wer was sieht, bescheid sagen, sonst ist es weg. #RetroComputing
