    i am never going to shut the hell up about desktop streaming in resonite. it literally solves SO many ideas i&#39;ve been wanting to do for some silly stream stuff, and just for my personal use. yeah i&#39;ve been rolling my own mediamtx and it works - but this is exactly what i actually wanted. i was not looking for a vibe coded app that does what i can already accomplish myself - i want desktop texture to worldspace. and now we have it!

    our non-profit is losing 3 of its 9 public pcs. the leasing contract is ending, and they won&#39;t let us renew because they want to use the machines for &#39;AI exploration&#39; these are public facing PCs we use for teaching programming, game dev, and as general pcs for people to hang out in the community center

    people always think resonite is antisocial people just working on their projects, but what usually happens is that someone starts a small project, and people start coming in to help the ability to just collaborate in-game with zero friction, not needing to swapping to an editor or desktop... it becomes the driving force between users and sessiosn communication isn&#39;t just verbal, it&#39;s being able to do actual THINGS together, build stuff, laugh at failures, have users join and help, or...
