  Don't rely on RCS! Unfortunately, #RCS is worse than #SMS. (It used to be worse than #CVS, but that was something completely different.) #FreeSoftware operating systems can easily support SMS and even #MMS, e.g. with #ModemManager. RCS is completely locked into #BigTech #duopoly Google + Apple and cannot be supported by #Mobian or free Android flavours. Use #RFC6120 instead.   It's my #age? It seems, that I was able to activate #flightMode on my #AGMM11 #dumbphone at some point. But I forgot about it and couldn't find the setting anymore. #FactoryReset was my way to deactivate it. If someone happens to remember how to (de-) activatate #airplaneMode, please advise!   Starting the week with a good deed — to myself! Liked to have the latest #jabberEl 0.11.1 on #Debian 13 #trixie stable, so I uploaded it to #backports. Should be installable in a few hours: $ sudo apt install -t trixie-backports elpa-jabber At this point, using #Jabber/#XMPP or other free and federated IMs is the second best thing we can do against #ChatControl in the #EU.   Again, a #Nextcloud #question: I need to maintain a directory containing some #LibreOffice files. For editing, we use #Collabora. The directory need to be "versioned" once in a while, think "git commit && git tag", so that we can access that version years later. Need to work in the browser. Command line is taboo. Any idea?   #Question about the #Proton #passwordManager for #MSWindows: Some people claimed, that couldn't access their passwords when there was no internet connection. Which, of course, would be horrible.
